Home Security Monitoring | Security System Monitoring
Home security monitoring or security system monitoring,
is a service whereby your own home alarm system is connected to
an external monitoring network via a telephone line. Any
unusual activity that is picked up, prompts your
security system to send a warning via the telephone
connection, to the network that is monitoring your house.
Monitoring burglar alarms
through a network means that your house is protected
around the clock. Whenever your alarm is activated, the
monitoring service will know about it.
That's useful, because there could well be a time when you
are away from home and your alarm goes off, just like when
you are at work, for instance, or away on vacation.
Of all the different systems, the home monitoring is
probably the most effective because your house is under
constant guard.
Monitoring will work with whatever type of security alarm
system is fitted. An auto dialing unit is installed within the
control panel, and it will automatically dial an alert to the
call centre when an alarm - fire, smoke or burglar (depending
on your system) - is activated. Upon activation and
receipt of an alarm, the monitoring system will take whatever
action has been pre-determined in their service agreement.
As soon as the system is activated the monitoring system
goes 'live' and your system is monitored from the security
monitoring network's call centre. If your alarm is triggered
they follow it up. Your security system is tracked
24/7/365.
Home security monitoring takes a lot of the worry out of
arranging a home alarm system. Professional installers will fit
a system to your requirements - it can normally be
installed in 4 to 8 hours - that provides you with security
cover 24/7.
